We end the year with some bitter news, and we need your help to move into 2011. Delicious, our site of choice for getting your tags, is being shut down by Yahoo! How do you want us to get your input for the show? Please drop us an email at dogearnation@gmail.com or comment on the blog. Should we use an open Google Doc? Should we use Twitter Hashtags? Should we use the Facebook? Should we use Google Buzz? Or do you have an idea? We hope everyone has a great year end, and we will be back with a new episode Recorded January 7th, 2011.

Good news from the Delicious blog — http://blog.delicious.com/blog/2010/12/whats-next-for-delicious.html
the reports of Delicious’ imminent demise apparently have been greatly exaggerated… and watching the discussion on Twitter and elsewhere, there are some interested buyers. Will be interesting to watch this space.
In any case, we are most interested in hearing from our listeners whether they would like a better/different way of getting your tags into the show for 2011. Comment here, send us email, tag something on Delicious with ‘dogear-nation’, tweet @dogearnation — let’s hear from you!
While I agree that this article may implies that all is well; however I’ve seen too many times the optimistic company saying we will be bought, or spun off, or whatever. None of it ever goes as planned. We want to hear from you – do we stay with a service which is up in the air, or do we move on to something new?
