New Site Coming – GamesAtWork

We’ve been working hard at our new / updated format and did a test run of the show this week. Unfortunately I deleted the output so there can be no proof that we did it. Given the level of starts and stops, and the overall experimental aspects of the show, it is probably not a big loss. In the mean time we’ve setup our new twitter account – GamesAtWork_Biz and our temporary email account of GamesAtWork@dogearnation.com . As you can tell the podcast will narrow down it’s focus down to gaming technology. This is what started our whole podcast five years ago!

Listened to episode 200 a few days ago. Great work on all of them. Needless to say, I am not always a real-time follower – though I eventually catch them all.

I usually found the show most interesting when you talked about the business “so what?” of very geeky things. There’s plenty of podcasts that are either pure tech or pure business, but not many that mix the two well. Your shows took this on quite well – that was your catch that kept me listening.

The gaming theme sounds good to me. Back to your roots. I remember listening to the first shows when I was at IBM – the title drew me in. “Imagine playing games at work” was it a question or a command? I never knew for sure. I enjoyed the discussions of how gaming learning could translate into business and other areas.

Also, I still like the audience-participation aspect of being able to tag something as a suggestion for the show. It maintained a link between show and audience. I had a feel for the audience based on the tags submitted.

Looking forward to whatever is next.
