Really enjoyed this even though I couldn’t be on the show! Some great tags from the folks at Villanova… I particularly liked the parallel between AR and Roger Rabbit which I hadn’t really thought about before. Great stuff!
Fair point, thanks for that – the colour was supposed to follow the one from the previous theme though, and the rounded edges are just cleaner / nicer – no deliberate attempt to ape Twitter here but you’re right that there’s a similarity.
Hope you get used to it – personally I like the larger text. I’ll continue to tweak slightly though, so if there are particular features that you liked about the old one, let me know…

Excellent Bill – thanks! I hope the show notes help you follow stuff up effectively. I do the same as you and listen to podcasts in the car… the only trouble I have is remember which were the links I’d intended to follow up later!
Thanks James… you didn’t have to offer feedback on every point, but we appreciate it
We actually do try to read the tags before the shows but we don’t always have a chance to look at every link in depth, and as you say that can make things more interesting. We tend to put the playlist together right before the show and as the amount of content increases thanks to our listeners, it can be hard to look at everything in detail. Personally I think it works best if at least one of us has read and can discuss a link in depth, then you get that dynamic around explaining the understanding of the content, although it can go less well if we’ve not digested it carefully enough beforehand!
So the length issue keeps coming up. What’s a good show duration? We aim for 30-40 minutes but have run over a couple of times lately. Would you rather we dropped more content or covered content more quickly?
Thanks for the feedback Martin – you can also find the links on Delicious http://del.icio.us/tag/dogear-nation but we try to keep the stuff we choose for the show in the show notes on the blog. We try to hook up with Sandy every now and then as she always has great content to add.
Guys – this was a *really* great interview. Sorry to miss out. Looking forward to seeing the video.

Thanks Wes – we had a good time recording it – sadly Michael cut most of that out seriously, we always have a blast with the show, glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Hmm… commenting as I listen. One point is that I played around with the Wolf3D sources on Linux when they were released, but wasn’t “involved” – the projects I was more directly involved in, once upon a long time ago, were the Unreal Tournament and DooM Linux ports.
