Dogear-Nation – Episode 121 – Happy As A Clam

Author: Michael Rowe - Categories: Podcast

It’s a very silly episode this week for some reason. No, not silly, Happy, Happy as a Clam. This phrase sets the tone of the show for some strange reason. Could it have been the rainy day in North Carolina infecting us all with crazy, silly? Or is it that international talk like a pirate day happening on Saturday? Who knows? All we know is we have a great set of tags this week from: wideawakewesley, epredator, kevinaires, rickmans, lbenitez300, heidigoseek, and bluebus. Enjoy the show!

Dogear-Nation – Episode 103 – Early Adopters, Shiny Things

Author: Andy Piper - Categories: Podcast
Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

The regular team is back – temporarily – before Michael Rowe heads off on vacation. Michael, Andy and Michael examine the shinyness of virtual world voice chat and new iPhones, but then realise that the GPS system is about to crash. Oh, and there’s a discussion about ten big tech failures too – any nominations for the official Dogear Nation list?

This week’s editor (Andy) would like to apologise for all the Skype chat noises during the episode – the beating will continue until performance improves!

The Michael’s squeeze out one more show before the end of the year. With each of them taking a bit of well deserved time off with family and friends, we miss our new co-host Andy Piper, but we soldier on anyway (btw, Andy provided us with a ton of great tags to choose from). In the spirit of helping with the economic woes, we look at a SecondLife live music aggregator with links to where you can buy the music from the in world musicians. We then look at Hype Cycles, a cool new Laptop from Lenovo (but is it cool enough), Panasonic’s iPod killer (not really), Cisco’s Telepresence tools, an iPhone VNC, games, and the top 10 cars we want (AND WE WANT THEM NOW!!!). We wish everyone a healthy, outstanding, prospers, and exciting new year, and Don’t forget to tag it with “Dogear-Nation.”
