Andy and Michael enjoy a non-controversial show, with Michael R not able to make the record. While podcasts enable you to build your own radio station, and only find things you agree with, both Michael and Andy agree that it makes you smarter (thank you new tagger rabiakiva). We also get to hear Andy laugh over mouse overs on the twategy site, and then we hear him gush over the wonderfulness of Twitter Lists. He loves it so much he’s created one list. Our good friend Matt Simpson (formerly a regular on Dogear Nation) has started a podcast called Sweettt, co-hosted by another friend of the show (and Internet non-email celebrity), Luis Suarez. I was listening to the latest episode the other night and spotted a Dogear Nation reference, so I thought I’d mention it over here.

Sweettt is a conversational podcast where Luis and Matt discuss various topics – it’s a very different style to DN and for me it took some getting used to, but the insights that the guys come up with are really very interesting. In the most recent episode released on the site, they talk about social software within the enterprise… and how corporate firewalls can affect the ways that people converse online. In particular Matt talks about Dogear Nation’s transition from the inside to the outside of a corporate firewall (about 10 minutes in to the episode), so it may be of interest to those of you wanting to learn a little bit more about the history of the podcast.
