We had a couple of emails and a comment in the last episode about the Obama iPhone app and it’s location awareness. As such, I’ved decided to do a couple of screen shots, for those of you who didn’t download it, or didn’t have access to it.

The above is the main screen, notice that every screen will have a donate button. One thing that I think is very funny, is that thte interface looks like the Windows XP start bar.

When you first launch the app and then choose one of the things that should be location aware, you get prompted for permission to get your current location.

We then can show all the local stories based on our current location. There is a simlar event screen, so if you travel, you can see if there are any local events where you happen to be.
